New Hampshire 4-H Sheep Clinic
N H 4-H Sheep Clinic
July 6-8, 2012
Held at the 4-H Youth Center
15 Hilldale Lane
New Boston, NH 03070
Sponsored By The N H Sheep & Wool Growers Associate

The 4-H Sheep Clinic revolves around the 4-H'ers and their sheep. Counselors, staff and volunteer guest speakers instruct the youth on fitting and showing as well as general management and care of their sheep.
The 4-H Sheep Clinic is designed for 4-H'ers (age 8-18 as of January 1st) with sheep projects to learn the skills needed for the fitting and showing of sheep. It is a great way for novices and less-experienced 4-H'ers to get a head start or refresher before the summer fairs and sheep shows begin. 4-H ers who attend the clinic learn animal husbandry skills and how to fit and show their sheep while meeting new people, visiting old friends and having a good time.

All clinic counselors and staff are volunteers with knowledge in the raising and showing of sheep. Counselors are experienced current or former 4-H'ers in the sheep program. Adult staff members are 4-H leaders, parents and volunteers. The ratio of clinic attendees to staff is kept low to allow for close supervision for instruction. Registration information will be coming out soon.
