2011 Annual Meeting
The night began with visiting with fellow sheep producers and a slide show of the events in which the New Hampshire Sheep and Wool Growers Association, took part in this year.
A display was set up, showing monthly what we had done. There was a computer available for members to check out the newly revised website. And many shirts and cookbooks were available for sale, association apparel, 2012 festival shirts and bags, as well as older years tshirts at a discounted price.
At 6:00 the annual meeting was called to order by president Jeff Jordan. Reports were given, a slate of canidates was presented and voted in, and scholarships were given out.
Throughout the evening numbers were drawn and door prizes were awarded to many people.
Allen's restaraunt provided a delicious buffet style meal which included New Hampshire grown leg of lambs and kabobs.
The evening ended with a talk given by Steve Taylor of Plainfield, NH, on the history of sheep in the state of New Hampshire.
2011 Market Lamb Show & Auction
The 2011 NH Market Lamb Show & Auction took place at the Hillsborough County Agricultural Fair. Fourteen 4-Hers tagged their lambs in May, with eleven of them coming to the fair and selling their lambs.

The New Hampshire Sheep and Wool Growers Association held their 2010 annual meeting at Allen's Restaurant, in Boscawen, NH.
2011 Farm and Forest Exposition, Febuary 4 & 5, 2011
The Farm & Forest , held at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester NH, was a huge success.

Lambing Clinic, Saturday, March 5, 2011
9:30am-1:00pm Began at Jeremiah Smith Grange, Lee, NH.
Then we traveled to Riverslea Farm, Epping, NH.

This was a day of learning the ins and outs of lambing. Dr. Tim Fallon, Jeff Jordan and Liz Conrad discussed all aspects of both pre and post-natal care
Wool Day, Saturday, April 16, 2011
Sartell Farm, Fiber Dreams Farm, Blue-By-Ewe Farm,
Temple, NH
Three tours took place throughout the day, beginning at the Sartell Farm for shearing and skirting, then moving on to Fiber Dreams Farm to observe the wool processing operation, then the final stop at Blue-By-Ewe Farm for spinning and dyeing of wool.

2010 4-H Market Lamb Show & Auction

Fourteen 4-H members participated in the 2010 Market Lamb Show and Auction at the Hillsborough County Youth Center, in New Boston, NH.
